This module is an introduction to corporate financial management that provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to address fundamental financial decisions: capital budgeting, financing, risk-return trade-off and profit allocation.

At the end of this module, you will:

  • Interconnect financial analysis tools and indicators with the business model of the company
  • Gain understanding into the discounting and compounding techniques specific in time value analysis
  • Acquire the knowledge to adequately apply investment projects evaluation techniques
  • Assess the relationship between return and risk
  • Understand the basics of financial securities valuation and how to optimally include them in financial assets portfolios
