This course teaches entrepreneurship and business modeling, emphasizing design thinking for innovation, strategic advantage, and user experience. Students will develop prototypes, identify opportunities, and solve business problems within cultural and creative industries through hands-on projects and assessments.
Description
The goal of this course is to teach you entrepreneurship and business modeling skills in order to learn how to scale your initiatives. During this module, you will get insights into how developing a designer mindset drives innovation and supports brands evolution through the development of new products and services. You will learn the methodology and how to apply design thinking to create strategic competitive advantages, respond faster to market opportunities and strengthen your user’s experience. Throughout the classes, you will be involved in group work, will be given individual assessments and each activity will be evaluated and contribute to your credits.
At the end of the model, you will:
- Gain the skills to generate ideas and identify business opportunities, applied specifically to cultural and creative industries
- Learn to develop rapid prototypes to bring ideas into reality as quickly as possible, and obtain feedback
- Know-how to use the design thinking methodology and apply it to solve complex business problems
