Here at ROCA Executive MBA Program we are well aware of the importance of the learning facilities for an enjoyable experience and you will see that the facilities of the university are specially designed for a remarkable learning and transformational journey.

Accordingly, to both the Romanian and the Canadian methodologies all candidates must meet 3 important minimum conditions in order to be eligible for applying for the Executive MBA program:

1. Bachelor degree recognized by international law;

2. At least 4 years of executive/managerial experience (if you hold a master degree you need only 2 years of executive/managerial experience and if you hold a Ph.D. degree you need only 1 year of executive/managerial experience);

3. English proficiency.

All foreign degrees must be translated into English/Romanian and pass the validation from the Romanian Ministry of Education.

Applicants send the required documents (.pdf format) stated below in a .zip file, along with their contact information (email, telephone number) on the following email: ROCA@bbs.ase.ro.

If these conditions are met, the candidates must prepare and submit a zip (archive) file with the following documents to the above mentioned email address:

1. Filled in application form (ASE and UQAM)
2. Motivation Letter
3. Three Recomandation Letters
4. Copy of High school graduation diploma (Bac diploma)
5. Copy of Bachelor diploma
6. Copy of Master diploma (if any)
7. Copy of Academic transcript for all diplomas
8. Copy of Birth Certificate
9. Copy of Marriage certificate (if any)
10. Copy of identity card or passport
11. CV in English (English Proficiency Proof)
12. Certificate of Managerial Experience (a document issued & signed by the employer where your position in the company and responsabilities are presented, and also the period of experience on the mentioned position)
13. Health certificate (attesting that the candidate has no contagious disease or illness incompatible with attending classes or the future profession)
14. Certificate from the Romanian Ministry of Education is required if the candidate is a Romanian student who studied abroad
15. Photo (standard passport size – 3×4)

The admission interview will be held in English in front of a board of examiners selected by the management of the Program.

The interview will include the followings:

• A brief self-description;
• Experience and personal projects from the professional and managerial point of view;
• Exercise of identifying problems affecting the operation and performances of one’s own company;
• Simulation of a case of self-responsibility in the context of organizational change of one’s own company;
• The level of knowledge of English;
• The candidate’s expectations from the Executive MBA program;
• Significant steps taken as holder of the Executive MBA diploma.

For the evaluation, each member of the examination board assigns a number of points for the following criteria:

1. General behavior
2. Interest for further study
3. Foreign languages
4. Managerial experience

The sum of the four evaluated criteria will be of maximum 40 points for each member of the examination board.

The final evaluation will be the average of the individual evaluations assigned by each member of the admission board.
