Cristi Brancu is a journalist, TV producer and host, and a self-described “passionate about the memorable.” He has been on the Romanian media scene since 1991, when he began as a sports reporter at the launch of VIP magazine. Over more than three decades he has worked in television, radio and print, and has also led the magazine where his career started.

Since December 2020 he has been the host and co-producer of Exclusiv VIP on Prima TV, a daily live afternoon show about Romanian celebrities. Prima TV provides the production infrastructure, while his team handles the editorial side. He has also hosted special editions, including the show’s New Year’s Eve broadcast. During the pandemic he produced podcasts with fellow TV host Teo Trandafir.

Alongside his media career, Cristi Brancu teaches and trains. He became a trainer at Intact Media Academy in 2013, where he taught how to make lifestyle and entertainment television. A doctor in management, he now brings storytelling into corporate and educational settings, helping speakers and teams create unforgettable moments. He is also a sought-after host for top events and a public speaker.
